Dubroom is a series of podcasts, started in May
2010. The music contains not just the best of the
Online (DUB) Reggae Artists community, but also
material which is reviewed in the Dubroom, rare or
out-of-print music, and much more. Every
episode is a non-stop mix, available for free
download right from the Dubroom server. Just click
"Download" and you will be redirected in
a new window to the right download page.
Radio
Dubroom Extra is the Revival of the Original Radio
Dubroom! Although the shows are streaming only,
the freedom for the selector is
"unlimited" and therefore much more of a
Radio Show than the podcasts. It is also possible
to request tracks or even themes for Radio Dubroom
Extra. For

Radio Dubroom 2020. Ultra-long: over two
hours and fourty minutes of Discomixes,
Dubs, Chapter and Versions if you will. A
special edition of the show too, as the
selector has dug in his personal collection
to present some personal favorite choices as
well. With
the vast majority of the music over 35 years
old, once again it has been shown how Reggae
Music can hold it's ground for decades.

December 2020 - As we're approaching the end
of that terrible year called 2020, here is
the second chapter of Radio Dubroom. Almost
two hours filled with Roots Rock Reggae in
all kinds of formats: DJ's, Singers and
Players of Instruments, Dub Engineers and of
course the singers spreading the message of
Word Sound and Power. Everything mixed
nicely together with not too much effects
and jingles, just enough to keep the fire
burning.
When there
is one thing you can definitely notice while
enjoying this chapter of Radio Dubroom, it
must be the enormous creativity and
versatility that came out of the Jamaican
studio's back in the 1970's. It is not for
nothing, that virtually all of contemporary
Electronic Dance Music (EDM) can trace their
technical roots to the art of remixing. The
elevation of the engineer behind the knobs
into a performer in his own discipline. This
music is not called Roots Reggae for only
one reason, that's for sure.

December 2020 - A hundred minutes weight of
heavyweight music from the 70's and 80's,
music which hasn't lost an inch or
nanosecond of it's worth. Everything mixed
nicely together, cool and easy. Some rare
recordings are included, like a track from a
Burning Spear concert in the Netherlands in
1983 which was broadcasted live on radio. But
that's by far not all there is. There's some
classic Dub from the Scientist, Dennis Brown
is there with several entries as well as
Prince Fari, whose "Foggy Road"
was originally recorded for BBC radio and is
now featured on the fansite princefari.com
where you can download more material.

September 2014 - One hour and twenty minutes
of not just pure niceness, because some of
it can only be heard at this podcast and yet
other selections are not yet released or
released only on vinyl. This is a special
selection that you just cannot afford to
miss out.
The set
starts with a track from the recently
released Heavyweight Dubwise Selection LP,
followed by a fine track with to-the-point
lyrics from the Irie-On-Air Net Label. From
the Original Dub Gathering another fine
track with ditto Dub, followed by a track
that can/could only be downloaded hundred
times. This is a track about an upcoming
duo-release from the Dubophonic and Dub Key
Net Labels.
